Intuidex presented at a second DHS S&T Workshop, this time located at the Naval War College in Newport, RI on December 1-2, 2009. This presentation discussed several of Intuidex's core discriminators with special attention given to military applications of these technology and approaches. Specifically, this presentation revealed the impressive results of Intuidex technologies when applied to data sources made available through work at Hanscom Air Force Base in Boston, funded by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). Through application of Intuidex entity extraction and classification components, engineers are now able to pull additional information from existing data sources into their analytical environment, including an automatically-generated label as to whether a particular incident represents a threat.
The Intuidex systems were deployed and evaluated using both classified and unclassified data sources, and therefore two presentations were given. Dec. 1 included unclassified data and results, and the classified version was presented Dec. 2.
